I was coach of Cougar Soccer for 8 seasons, but have stepped back from the practice field and sidelines to focus more time on my family. This was a very difficult decision, and in the end I chose what is best for myself, my wife and my own children.
I am leaving some of this information here as both a record and a resource...

Needs and Wants:
SCPS provides Cougar Soccer with safe and appropriate equipment for practices and games. But there are ways you can help.
Cougar Soccer has grown thanks to the financial donations and other generosity in support of the team. Checks should be written to “Surry County High School” with “Cougar Soccer Donation” stated on the memo line. Contact Coach Brinkman if you would like to donate equipment, first aid supplies, food/drink or other resources such as:
Ace Bandages
Instant cold packs
Icy/Hot lotion
Bug spray
Sunscreen
