What role does the mouth play in the process of digestion?
In this lesson students will identify the structures and functions of the organs in the vicinity of the mouth. Attention will be given to tooth anatomy and arrangement, the job and features of the tongue, the location and process of saliva production, and the variety of diseases that can impact this important orifice.
