Lesson: Hydrosphere & Water Cycle

Why is water such a potent force of nature?

This lesson examines the distribution of water, with a focus on freshwater. Students will begin to examine the hydrosphere and its interactions with the lithosphere, especially as an agent of weathering, erosion and deposition. Soil formation and layering will also be examined.
