Unit - Foundations of Ecology
Unit Plan:
This unit builds the scaffolding for going out and exploring nature and understanding the complex interactions that maintain and shape the life and surface of the earth. In order to manage the finite resources of our planet we must investigate the relationships and influence of both the non-living and living factors of our environment. This unit introduces the major concepts that will be refined and explored with greater detail, especially in our own natural relationships with Surry, but also to the world beyond.
