My Classroom

As a Media Specialist, I have the opportunity to work out of two classrooms- The Bedford Elementary School Library and Computer Lab. Because I have two classrooms, my schedule is always changing and I constantly have students coming in and out of my classrooms. My classrooms are very warm and inviting and conducive for learning. They are organized to keep my students, books, and all technological equipment safe in my classroom.

The way that I have my classrooms laid out, students are able to make a choice as to how they will work: either independentally or cooperatively. I give them this choice because a lot of times it is nice to have a classmate to lean on or to converse with as my classes are considered "special" or extra curricular classes.

The layout of my classrooms also allow me to constantly monitor my students while, at the same time, give my students access to virtually every piece technology in our school without having to get out of their seats .
