DREAMS NAMING CONVENTIONS GUIDE

general rules

• All file names to be in lower case.

• First three fields to be split by underscore, remaining by a dash. See example below.

• SKU numbers are unique per product and will be provided at the brief stage by client.

• 'Sku number' follows [XXX-YZZZ] format. XXX corresponds to product category; Y corresponds to size, ZZZZ are just four consecutive numbers.

• 'Image code' varies between 'cut-out' and 'detail', always with separate number split by underscore. See examples below.

• 'Main shader' and 'second shader' are used occasionally to specify one or more materials/colours. E.g. in Divans and Headboards.

• Naming conventions are currently brief as part of the Cutouts Brief. Which means final outputs are generated automatically. 

• For Lifestyle imagery this is still changed manually, but we are looking at ways to make this part of the Retouch brief.

• The below images are not accurate representation of how images should be cropped. They are just used for referencing in terms of how files should be named.

Headboard cutouts are always provided on a front on angle, variations of headboards full height & strut

We provide square format swatches for all Bedframes we model, these are saved out as part of the cutout process and colour corrected to match the furniture cutouts and lifestyle images of the product.
