PRODUCT IMAGE GUIDE

Here you will find the specification which the client has provided, which we need to adhere to when delivering imagery.

This covers delivery both cutouts and lifestyle imagery.

lifestyle & CUTOUTS specification

Feather & Black, like Dreams, has specific image delivery requirements. For each image, we deliver 3 assets; the full shot (6000x4242), a square crop (3000x3000), and a landscape crop (3000x1536).

We make the square crop and the landscape crop

The Square and the Landscape crops are made by cropping into the full image, so it is important to consider the crops when setting up your cameras. It is up to the artist to make these crops, but the Art Director and Lead Artist can assist if one is unsure.

To achieve consistency when outputting these crops, there is a handy F&B crop template .PSD in R:\06_TEMPLATES\02_PRODUCTION_TEMPLATES\F&B

It can be duplicated the the top of your Comp PSD, and used to final the optimum crops, ensuring the correct aspect ratio. The image can then be cropped, resized, and then saved to finals.

For final delivery, we output the usual Adobe98 jpgs, Adobe 98 tiffs and CMKY tiffs. Please separate the crops into their folders as per the below.

For each lifestyle image we require:

File Type: JPG or PNG
File Size: Less than 5,000 KB
Square - 3000 x 3000 or equivalent at same ratio to be 5mb or less
Landscape: 3000 x 1536 or equivalent at same ratio to be 5mb or less

File Type: JPG or PNG
File Size: Less than 5,000 KB

Example of note to include within retouch brief:

The ADOBE 98 JPEGS need resizing twice to the following:

File Size: Less than 5,000 KB

Landscape: 3000 x 1536 or equivalent at same ratio to be 5mb or less
