The bellow items must follow the same naming convention as close as possible:

To be determined by Producers and followed by all the teams when setting up folders and file names.

Other names are acceptable as long as the format is used consistently:

• Capital Letters

• Names split by underscore

Note to Producers: Do not use special characters like & or /, etc.

Indicating a product name, material or other category will allow us to search for these keywords in our portfolio library. Making it easier to find outputs in the future.

To be set up by 3D Artists and reviewed by Lead Artists.

It should follow VM Project Number, Client Name, plus naming established by Producer in Ftrack.

VMXXXX_CLIENT_SCXX_PRODUCT_COLOUR or VMXXXX_CLIENT_SCXX_CATEGORY_MATERIAL

E.g.

VM0953_UFORM_SC02_CLIFDEN_MARINE_LIGHT_GREY

Additional names maybe added at the end if there is a need to have more than one scene inside the same folder, in order to differentiate the work.

Note to 3D Artists: Please stick to the name and format given and if a shorter name is required due to character limit please communicate it to Lead Artist and Producer. 

To be set-up by 3D Artists and reviewed by Lead Artists.

It should follow the format mentioned above, plus Shot Number and/or Description.
