Wherever possible, retouch tasks should be added to Ftrack by midday each Friday for the following week. Once tasks are added they will then be reviewed by the retouch department. If there are any issues with resource this will be raised in the retouch channel.

There is time booked out in the calendar available for preparing retouch tasks between 9.30 and 10.00 if needed on Friday mornings.
Jobs will obviously always become available without notice and miss the Friday booking deadline. When this happens please just let retouch department know as soon as possible along with when you would like the work to be done and check resource availability in the retouch channel.
Once retouch tasks are confirmed, a list of all agreed bookings for the week will be posted in the retouch channel in Teams for reference. If there are any errors or tasks missing this should be raised with the retouch department.
Each day the tasks booked for that day will be posted in the retouch channel with relevant producers tagged. Please respond with an update on timings for any outstanding tasks booked for retouch that day. Try to have any tasks booked for retouch ready as early as possible on the day and bear in mind that jobs that become available after 3.00 are not guaranteed for that day.
Each Wednesday at 9.00 there is a call for producers and retouch to discuss and tasks outstanding for that week. The aim of the call is to make any necessary updates the the schedule and as an opportunity to discuss tasks and process.
Notify retouch department of any large scale batch work or complex jobs that will require a lot of time to complete. The department tends to deal with smaller jobs at a high quantity and will need planning time to review resource accomodate such tasks.
