Bensons usually brief divan sets, headboards and mattress cutouts. Occasionally they may also brief some bedroom accessories e.g. bedside tables, chairs and storage units. 

True life swatches are usually requested when we create new fabrics for Bensons. If the client doesn't specify on their brief then we need to check if they would like us to create True Life Swatches also. See 'True Life Swatches' page.  

All of the cutouts will show the products at an angle. Please see images below. 

Their standard divan bases are as follows: 

• 90cm Non Drawer & 2 drawer (2+2 drawer & 4 drawer is not an option on a 90cm divan base) 

• 90cm Front Opening Ottoman

• 150cm Non Drawer, 2 Drawer, 2+2 Drawer & 4 Drawer

• 150cm Front Opening Ottoman 

• 180cm Non Drawer, 2 Drawer, 2+2 Drawer & 4 Drawer

• 180cm Front Opening Ottoman 

Bensons also do 'low base' versions of all of the divans listed above. Low base divans are thinner than a normal divan base and are shown with wooden legs. 

On divan bases which have drawers at least one drawer should be shown open and propped with a pillow. Please see images below which show the standard practice for Bensons. 

All front opening ottomans should be modelled open and closed. For the open shot the inside of the ottoman should be propped with white pillow. 

Normal divan bases will be shown on either glides or castors (silver or black). Low base divans will be shown on wooden legs. 

Mattress only cut outs are typically included in every Bensons divan sets brief. 

Normally Bensons require x1 cut out of each size (90, 150 & 180cm) plus a closeup of the corner of the 150cm mattress but they should specify on their brief. 

Sometimes the brief will contain zip & link mattresses. These are only available in x2 sizes (150cm & 180cm). 

Headboard cutouts generally show each headboard front on in x3 sizes (90cm, 150cm & 180cm). 

Bensons headboards are sometimes available in x2 options: Floor standing & Strutted. Client should specify which models they require. If the headboard is 'strutted' then we show the headboard without the wooden strutts in the cuts outs but in the lifestyle the headboard will have the wooden strutts for realism. 

Bensons may also request a close up of the corner of a specific headboard in all of the available materials to showcase the fabrics. 

Cutouts of bedroom accessories will generally show the product in the 'front on' position and in an angled/'perspective' position. If the product has drawers we are often briefed to also model the product with one drawer open and show it in an angled/'perspective' position.

True life swatches are closeups of the materials shown in the cut outs we create for Bensons. 

Bensons have approved a swirl model which we use as a base for all of the swatches. The cut out team are responsible for applying the shaders to the swirl model.
