Born 1907 to David Beaconsfield Campbell, a hairdresser and Sarah Strachan at Port Fairy. One of at least three children.
1928 ER Saleswoman living at Sackville Street, Port Fairy.
From the ODH House Committee report 15 October 1929 – Trainees – Miss Campbell commenced duty as trainee on 8 October 1929.
Passed exams November 1933 – see The Herald, 30 November 1933.
Date of qualification November 1933.
Mr. Moonie moved that the certificate of the institution be forwarded to nurse Jessie M. Campbell, and that the seal of the institution and the necessary signatures be affixed. Seconded by Mr. Gillian and carried. Ovens and Murray Advertiser, 24 March 1934
1934 ER is a nurse living at 483 Lit. Lonsdale Street, Melbourne – a trained nurses’ home.
1936 & 1937 ER nurse at Sunbury Mental Hospital.
1943 ER nurse living at 103 Rowell Ave, Camberwell. 103 Rowell Avenue at the time was her mother's home.
1948 married Bertie Kaye, a labourer. Do not appear to have had any children.
CAMPBELL.—On November 3, Sarah, 103 Rowell avenue, Camberwell, beloved wife of the late David, loved mother of Jessie (Mrs. Kaye), Gray, George (Barney). The Argus, 6 November 1948.
1949 - 1954 ER Bertie & Jessie are living at Scott Avenue, Moe. Bertie is a shovel operator.
1963 - 1968 ER Bertie & Jessie are living at 70 Hennessy Street, Moe. Bertie is a shovel operator.
Died at Moe Memorial Park Cemetery - 6 July 1976. Probate granted 9 December 1976,
