Married at Beechworth on the 22nd February 1908, James Gifford Thompson, age 21 years, Single, of Stanley, to Josephine Clara Crameri, age 18 years, Single, of Stanley. Marriage Records, Christ Church Anglican Church, Beechworth.
1931 electoral roll lists Agnes as a probationer nurse at the Ovens District Hospital.
From the ODH House Committee report 20 June 1933 – The Matron’s Report was received and it was agreed to recommend that Nurse Thompson be retained for her 4th year’s training.
From the ODH House Committee report 20 March 1934 – Nurse Thompson completes her 3 years training on 15th of April, she leaves on 25th inst. and her annual leave will be up on 15th of April, she intends doing her 4th year in Melbourne.
PERSONAL
Prior to her leaving the Ovens District Hospital, Nurse Thompson was entertained by members of the nursing staff and presented with gifts. Nurse Thompson intends leaving for Melbourne tomorrow where she will spend a holiday before commencing her duties at Queen Victoria Hospital. Ovens and Murray Advertiser, 14 April 1934.

SOCIAL NEWS - Miss Agnes Thompson, daughter of Mr and Mrs Gifford Thompson, of Beechworth, who was formerly a trainee at the Ovens District Hospital, was among the successful candidates in the nurses’ examination held recently. Ovens and Murray Advertiser, 7 August 1935.

From the ODH House Committee report 21 January 1936 – Matron had left on her annual holidays on the 6th inst. and she had engaged nurse Thompson to act as sister in place of Sister Channon who is acting matron. There has not been any arrangement as to the salary[1] that nurse Thompson is to receive, I did not know when matron was going until 9.30 on Saturday evening the 4th inst. when she told me that she was going on Monday and that nurse Thompson was coming on Monday morning.
Divorce Decrees Granted
Mr Justice Martin In the Divorce Court yesterday granted decrees nisi in the following
suits the name of the petitioner being, mentioned first in each case:—... Frank Albert Jensen, aged 39 years, timber merchant, of Bell street, Coburg, from Ruby Ellen Jensen, aged 39 years, of North Melbourne on the ground of misconduct. An order for costs was made against the co-respondent. The Argus, 12 February 1937.

Truck driver crushed to death Frank Albert Jensen, 53, of McConchie av, North Kew, was killed yesterday, when he was crushed between his truck and a tree at Mount Royal, Royal Park. Police say Jensen was unloading wood when his truck began to move. He jumped on the running board and was trying to apply the brakes when the side of the truck crashed into the tree. July 1940 Agnes' address on nurse’s registration is 16 McConchie Avenue, North Kew.
Married Lionel Francis Enery, (known as Tommy) in 1957.
1963 ER Agnes and Lionel lived at 16 McConchie Avenue Kew. Lionel is listed as an assurance agent.
1967 ER Agnes and her husband lived at 149 Spencer Street, Melbourne. Have been unable to ascertain what 149 Spencer Street was.
Agnes died at St Vincent’s, Melbourne, 17 June 1967, aged 56. Buried Fawkner, 20 June 1967.
ENERY, Agnes Mary – Passed away suddenly on 17 June at St. Vincent’s. Fondest memories from loving husband, Lionel. The Age, 19 June 1967.
