Daughter of Mary Barkley & Albert Taylor. Married 1908. Albert a farmer from Wandiligong. Ida born Bright 17 February 1915. Older brother Hartley Joseph born 1911.
Ida’s father Albert known as Bert died in 1931, aged 56.
From the ODH House Committee report 21 November 1933 – Matron’s Report was read and received. She recommended the undermentioned as probationer nurses in order of preference.

From the ODH House Committee report 20 February 1934 – Miss Ida Taylor is to arrive tomorrow Wednesday to commence duty as a trainee.

From the ODH House Committee report 17 March 1936 –… Nurse Taylor is away on her annual holidays.
From the ODH house committee report 19 January 1937 – Nurse Taylor will complete her 3 years training in about 3 weeks.
From the ODH house committee report 16 February 1937 – The secretary reported that Nurse Taylor will complete her 3 years training on the [21st] inst. She is then entitled to her 3 weeks annual holiday on full pay.
1936 ER ODH. Future husband George, living in Camp Street, Beechworth and is a tannery employee

1939 married George Albert Beard. 5 children – Beverly, Leslie, David, Robin, Rex and Vicki.
1949 ER Ida & George are at Old Sydney Road, Newmarket (East Albury) – George a ‘service car’ proprietor.
1952 ER Ida & George are at 232 Sydney Street, Albury. (Newmarket) George is a railway worker.
1958 ER Ida & George at 232 Borella Road, Albury. George a railway worker.
1968 ER Ida & George at North Street. George a ranger.
1972 - 1980 ER Ida & George at 772 Park Avenue, Albury. George a fitter.
George died August 2000.
Ida died aged 101, 30 August 2015. Was buried with her husband at Albury.
