Born 10 May 1932 in Townsville, Queensland to Lulu Jean Gordon & Victor Harold Day in Queensland. Lulu was the daughter of Sir David Gordon, president of the South Australian Legislative Council.
Known as Pat.
November 1940 - the family including 7 children were living in Albury where Victor had taken up the job as a manager at Dalgety’s Albury.
1944 - the family were living at ‘Carieon’, Kiewa Street, Albury.

ABOUT PEOPLE - Mrs Victor Day, accompanied by Nurse Patricia Day of Wangaratta, motored to Melbourne to visit her daughter Helen who is nursing at the Royal Melbourne Hospital. Border Morning Mail, 3 November 1951.

Miss Pat Day, Tangambalanga, celebrated her 21st birthday with a party at the home of Mr. and Mrs. H. Vidgen, Fairfield, last Saturday. Her mother, Mrs Vic Day, motored down with Tony, Jim and Mary to attend. Miss Pat Day’s ballerina frock was of white lace with strapless red velvet bodice and stole to match. Mrs. Day wore a mauve moire taffeta frock with violets, and Mrs. Vidgen, pale green faille with spray to tone. Guests who motored down for the party were Mr Michael Zwar and Miss Dawn Waite (Beechworth) and Mr. John Mamouney and Miss Janette King, (Albury). Border Morning Mail, 16 May 1953.

1954 ER Patricia is a nurse at the Chelsea-Mordialloc Hospital.
In November 1954, a Victorian woman by the name of Pat Day, is studying obstetrics at Sydney's King V Hospital. See The Sun (Sydney) 25 November 1954 It's not confirmed that this is Patricia Ann Jean Day. However, does not appear on an Australian electoral roll until 1963.

2 October 1958 is registered as a nurse on the UK & Ireland, Nursing Registers, 1898-1968.
1963 is a nurse at Bindawalla Hospital, Wellington, New South Wales.
Married John William Blackhall, an accountant on 14 December 1963. Both Patricia and John disappear from the electoral rolls until 1980 when they are listed as living at 25 Bruxner Avenue, Wauchope, a town in the Mid North Coast region of New South Wales. During that time they may have had at least one child.
John died at Wauchope, on 18 June 2006. Patricia died fifteen years later on 13 September, 2021 at Wauchope.
