Clive Timothy Armstrong Richmond rode as conditional for his father, former National Hunt jockey Basil Richmond, during the 1980s and had one win.
He had his first ride when Priddy Friendly was always behind in the Greet Handicap Hurdle at Southwell on March 24, 1982.
His sole victory came at Market Rasen on August 27, 1983, when Gorsky, trained by his father, ran on strongly to take the lead in the closing stages and win the Scunthorpe Selling Handicap Hurdle by three-quarters of a length.
The seven-year-old had occasionally been ridden by Clive the previous season when he had contested a dozen races without winning. After his Market Rasen success, Gorsky won again next time out with future trainer Micky Hammond aboard.
Clive rode until at least the 1987/88 season but without winning again.
