Mark Rimmer

Mark Edward Rimmer was born in Liverpool on February 1, 1961 and, from June 1977, apprenticed to Gavin Pritchard-Gordon.

His first winner was Flying Empress at Yarmouth on September 14, 1977.

Mark rode around 700 winners worldwide including some of the German classics.

He retired in 1999 and became a trainer.

Mark won the 1979 Cesarewitch on Sir Michael and the 1988 Lincoln on Cuvee Charlie. He also won the 1989 Goodwood Stakes on Late Cut.
