Today we start a new unit, which is called "Moments in History" During this unit you will learn a lot of verbs, names of different places. Also we will read about different historical events. Our grammar topic is Past Simple: regular verbs.
Think for a moment and say:
- What famous people do you know from history?
- Why are they still famous today?
- When and where qere they born?

Зверніть увагу, що у табличці дієслова усі записані у минулому часі. У англійській мові дієслова поділяються на 2 великі групи: правильні (regular) та неправильні (irregular). Поділяються вони саме за утворенням минулого часу. Сьогодні за вами починаємо говорити саме про правильні дієслова. Для утворення Past Simple у стверджувальних реченнях ми до дієслова додаємо закінчення -ed:

cross - crossed
open - opened
Як можемо побачити, у табличці подані саме правильні дієслова.

Good afternoon!
Today we start working with Past Simple Tense (Минулий простий час).
Якщо у реченні немає змістовного дієслова, яке позначає дію або стан, ми використовуємо дієслово be. Ми добре знаємо Present Simple і три форми цього дієслова: am, is, are. Пригадайте, з якими займенниками вживаються ці форми?
Am - I
Is - he, she, it
Are - we, you, they.
Запам'ятовуємо, що у минулому часі дієслово be має тільки 2 форми: was та were.
Was вживається з одниною: I, he, she, it was
Were - з множиною: we, you, they were.
Розгляньте приклади на с.25 Sb Ex.1.
Доповнюємо правила:
1. We use was with I/he/she/it.
2. We use were with you/we/they.
3. We add not to was/were to make negative sentences.
4. We put was/were before the subject to make questions.

Тема. Get Started! Grammar “Present Simple” Good afternoon!
Today we finish our revision. So let’s talk one more time about Present Simple and also let's revise word order in statements, negatives and questions.
1. Ми використовуємо теперішній простий час, коли говоримо про дії, що повторюються, звички та рутини, якісь загальновідомі факти та закони природи. Основний момент, про який потрібно пам'ятати при вживанні цього часу, - це те, що коли підмет у нас 3-я особа однини (він, вона, воно /he, she, it), то до дієслова потрібно додати закінчення -s/-es. Правила написання у 2 табличці).
For example:
I eat an apple. He eats an apple.
We play football. She plays football.
2. Для утворення заперечних речень та запитань нам необхідно використати допоміжне дієслово do (якщо підмет I, you, we, they) or does (якщо підмет he, she, it)
Звертаємо увагу на порядок слів у реченні!
Negative:
They don't like baseball. He doesn't play tennis.
3. Question. Ми поки що вивчили 2 типи запитань.
1) Загальне (general or yes-no question) запитання вимагає відповіді так або ні:
Do you like cooking? Does she like swimming?
2) Спеціальне (special or W-question) потребує розгорнутої відповіді і буде починатися з питального слова:
Where do you live? What does he do on Sundays?

Good afternoon!
Today we are going to revise numbers and dates.
You already know the numbers, but let’s check them one more time!
Числа від 1 до 12 ми просто запам'ятовуємо.
Числа від 13 до 19 утворюються за допомогою додавання суфікса -teen (наголос на цей суфікс!)
Six – six'teen
Для утворення десятків використовують суфікс -ty (наголос на 1 склад!): 'twenty

Складні числа складаються з десятків та одиниць. Ні в їхньому складанні, ні в написанні немає нічого складного. Єдина особливість – між розрядами потрібен дефіс під час написання.
Наприклад:
