Pure Contour + Patterns

In class, we had to make Pure Contour designs and patterns. Then we had to fill in the negative space with designs and patterns. In this project, I decided that I would do more drawings and create a little world. This project I liked because it was creative and really up to me. There are some things I could improve on like adding more patterns. Also, I could have made everything darker. What I like about my design is that it is very complex and there are a lot of different things going on.

The materials that I used to make this were mainly colored pencils and sharpies. The reason, I used these is that they are much easier to control than paints and I just like drawing more than painting overall. I used sharpies to make the designs pop out at parts.

Issues that occurred while making this had enough colors to make it feel different and new though out the paper.
