Sustained Investigation Fourteen

I changed the way that I was designing this work. To feature a different idea built around ads and past work and combine them into one big piece. I started with a pair of sneakers I was designing and decided that it was time to switch to something that could connect to brands at their heart. My idea is to build a bunch of ads with and without my previous sustained investigations. The point is so I can connect all this work into one giant piece of art and see where it goes.

When creating this work, I used Illustrator. I have been switching between the Mac and Ipad version as there are things that both can do better than the other. I found that I needed to get down a solid base or structure of what I wanted to do, and then I plan to go on from there. The way the buildings are aligned is supposed to represent a city skyline.

While making this, I ran into some issues just with sizing and being able to place everything I want. With this work, I have found that it is actually really interesting seeing you putting your work into an ad form.
