Sustained Investigation Two

For this project, I worked on trying to create and alter fonts and news headlines. Through this project I worked on finding different famous news headlines that I found both interesting as well as ones that I knew were famous. While this took a while I found several headlines that I found interesting and allowed me to play with the meaning behind them and how I wanted to shape their look. This project was interesting because I had to also create my own fonts as well as alter passed ones which I did with the San Fran font and the Titanic one.

I mainly used Photoshop and Illustrator to make these fonts and then also used many references from online to help make my choice. I did most of the first edits in Photoshop then from there did the rest in Illustrator and went onto edit them farther till I felt I had a final product.

My favorite part this project was finding and researching all the meanings as well as creating my own fonts. I feel the one thing that I could have done better was the use of certain fonts meaning used different ones to get a deeper meaning.
