Sustained Investigation Four

For this investigation, I focused on travel ads and the meaning that I could express with them. I found a common travel image or ad that I see it is a blank image with a picture of a specfic city within the cities name. It is usally a really pretty image of the city that is supposed to make you want to come or visit. In following this I created images that show the otherside of major cities or events that have caused or are causing these cities problems. New York for example I focused on pollution and their trash issue taking an image of New York and sticking it into the text then creating images to go along with it same with other images.

I created this project mainly through Illustrator making these images through tracing and layering with clipping masks so that I could fit images into the background. From there I was able to then bring in more images to fill in the rest of the image and try and make my idea much clearer.

I feel overall this project came out pretty well but I want to do even more with it and make tons of images. That have the same theme and idea behind them.
