Sustained Investigation Nine

For this project, I am working on doing a group of art works that is based around nature and the limited precense that humans have in certain places. I really focused on working on my layers and color in this piece. I did this through starting with the hills then working my way back and slowly adding in trees and hues for the sky and background. I then started editing the sizing and height of everything and then adding in the watch tower, fog, and stars. Then to finish the work put in lighting and shadow for the watch tower and moon.

This project I did all through Illustrator and made it through designing and painting in different hills and shapes. I worked a lot with color and lighting to add effect of night time through out the work.

My favorite part of the work was the making the watch tower since I feel that it has the most level of detail. I think I could have done more with the sky's lighting.
