#3 Sustained Investigation

Outside of class, I worked on my third investigation my question was"How can I used collage to create nature through texture and form." This project I used African animals as my base or idea the animals are around water which are made of circles. The whole idea was to only use however many letters were in the animals name was how many different shapes I could use to create them. So I made lions, ostriches, rhino, giraffe, and an elephant.

I only used glue and paper to make this and designed them on the Cricut software where are welded all the shapes together then cut them out. I then glued them on to green paper and refined the designs a few time since they did not always come out the best on my first few attempts.

My favorite part was making the rhino I just think it came out really strong same with the ostriches. I think I could have worked on the lions some more and maybe the water. But the main focus was supposed to be on the animals.
