Sustained Investigation Fifthteen

For this investigation I focused on using a difference of color to create high contrast between sections of the image. Focusing on creating crisp lines between each side of the dune and sky. Using several layers to seperate the color and make a line difference between each side. Through constructing the foreground of the dune I also focused on the sky. Which features stars and a moon at the top of the dune which is glowing. Making your eye lead to the moon from it being both placed in the center of the image as well as having the mountain lead towards it.

The materials that I used to create this were Illustrator as it was the best application for painting clean lines and developing the lighting that comes off of the moon. Using Illustrator I tried focusing mainly on the sculpting the mountain outline then filling with colors. I then used reference images of bones to create the skeleton in the sand.

I feel like this project came out fine I definitely could have added more to it and its structure.
