Find Your Voice

In class, We worked on Find Your Voice projects. Mine was on the internet and on surveillance and how it is effecting people. This project took me a lot of time and I feel is some of my best work. The heads are supposed to look kind of ominous. This project I modeled after Basquiets themes in his art. The theme is very dark showing that if you don't have proper security online. I then painted red X's and chains to show how some people are secure and some people aren't

The materials that I used to make this were mainly paints and HB pencils. The pencils were to create a quick outline and the paints were to create the main look of the piece. I used a lot of black to show the mystery and how the internet has a lot of unknowns and used the red to standout from the black.

The best part of this project was how the heads came out. I think it really adds to the dark mysterious feel that I was aiming for. The one thing that I did not like was how the letters came out very unclear.
