WORSHIP
Palm Sunday
This weekend, we will celebrate Palm Sunday of the Passion of the Lord which will lead us into Holy Week. The blessing of palms will take place at all the Masses. Weather permitting, we will also have a Procession with Palms at the 10:30 a.m. Mass. Parishioners will be invited to be part of a grand procession that will make its way through the Prayer Garden and back into church.
Good Friday Fasting
On Good Friday, fasting is obligatory for all who have completed their 18th year and have not yet reached their 60th year. Fasting allows a person to eat one full meal. Two smaller meals may be taken, not to equal one full meal. Abstinence (from meat) is obligatory for all who have reached their 14th year. If possible, the fast on Good Friday is continued until the Easter Vigil as the “paschal fast” to honor the suffering and death of the Lord Jesus, and to prepare ourselves to celebrate more readily his Resurrection.

The Great Vigil of Easter is one of the most beautiful and oldest known rites of the church, dating back to the second century. It brings worshippers, literally and symbolically, from darkness into light. Celebrate the first Eucharist of the Easter season and the sacraments of Baptism, First Communion and Confirmation for those joining the Catholic faith. A reception will follow immediately after Mass.

If you would like to offer up in prayer an intention at the Easter Vigil and Easter Sunday Masses this year, envelopes are due by Sunday, March 24th.

2024 -2025 St. Albert the Great Tuition Rates
For the past several months, through collaborative efforts between the finance council, administration, and the advisory school board, tuition rates for our next school year have been discussed and researched at great length. When determining tuition, we try to keep a balance between affordability for our families and the strategic needs of the school in order to maintain the quality of our academic programs, our teachers, constant improvements of buildings and grounds in order to facilitate a greater learning experience, and to ensure ourlong-term viability. We believe this year’s tuition rates achieve these goals. Click on the button below to see the full letter.
