Message from Fr. Dave
Dear Parish Family,
Last week Archbishop Fabre communicated to me that he had assigned a new pastor to St. Albert following my retirement on June 19th. I am pleased to announce that Father Chris Lubecke will be your next pastor. Many of you already know Father Chris from his stay at St. Albert as an Associate Pastor. He is currently pastoring at St. Peter the Apostle. I have already spoken with him and congratulated him on being appointed to one of the finest parishes in the Archdiocese and pledged my full support in making the transition as seamless as possible.
I am also pleased to announce that Deacon Mike Schultz will be your next Associate Pastor effective June 19th. Deacon Mike will graduate from St. Mary’s seminary this spring and be ordained to the priesthood shortly thereafter. Both priests will be living in the rectory.
Once again, I can’t express how happy I am that Father Chris and Deacon Mike are coming to St. Albert in June. Please keep both of them in your prayers.
Blessings always!
Father Dave

Thank You Coit Cleaning!
FOR BEING SO GENEROUS
Thank you to Mark and Eunice Krish and Coit Cleaning for pressure cleaning our church ceramic floors this past week. Their annual donation of this service restores the tile floors after the long winter months.
We couldn’t do it without donors like you – thank you for helping us make our worship space an inviting place for our parishioners to experience God's word and celebrate the Eucharist.
In addition, they are longtime advertisers in our weekly bulletin. Please consider supporting their business as a thank you for their generosity to our parish. www.coit.com
Temporary Housing

SOCIAL CONCERNS
Loaves & Fishes
THANK YOU!
Thank you to everyone who donated items to EACM this month. We filled 17 grocery carts or 1,110 lbs of food! Your generous spirit will provide meals to families in need in our local community. And special thanks to the parishioners who helped load the food into cars after Mass. Many hands make light work!
St. Vincent dePaul
In this Sunday’s Gospel, Jesus explains the meaning of the scriptures. Like the disciples, when we offer and receive forgiveness our hearts burn because we encounter the risen Christ within us.
Have you considered answering the call to “help the poor find forgiveness and healing in their life” by joining the Society of St. Vincent de Paul?
Environmental Concerns Committee
Earth Day 2024 is quickly approaching. This year’s global theme is “Planet vs. Plastics.” We’ll look at the impact plastic is having on our environment in the future. For now, it’s crucial to remember the earth every day, not just once a year. The earth is truly one of the utmost gifts from God to humanity. If you doubt that, try living without it. It’s impossible. And remember, there is no backup for the earth. As Pope Francis said in Laudato Si’, “creation can only be understood as a gift from the outstretched hand of the Father of all.” So I hope everyone will make each day “Earth Day,” do all you can to protect and preserve the earth, and thank the good Lord each day for this most precious gift. Thank you for that. Remember: you do make a difference, please make it a positive one. Thanks!
