Food Experimental Economics Lab (FEEL) is a research team that focuses on studying human behavior and decision-making in the context of food and nutrition. It uses experimental economics methods to understand how individuals make choices related to food consumption, food production, and food policies.
The lab conducts controlled experiments that allow researchers to manipulate various factors and observe how participants respond. These experiments are designed to provide insights into how individuals make decisions about food, and how these decisions are affected by factors such as price, packaging, labeling, advertising, and social norms.
FEEL's research has implications for a wide range of issues related to food and nutrition, including obesity, food insecurity, agricultural policy, and sustainable food production. By understanding the factors that influence food choices, researchers hope to develop more effective strategies for promoting healthy and sustainable diets, and for addressing the challenges facing the food system.
