If you've loved all the Pike Logan books, the macho smart-ass who somehow wins in the end, with his super brave and acrobatic team member Jennifer, you've been waiting for this latest, Ring of Fire.  What a title!  What a story!

Fifteen years past the September 11 attack on the twin towers, somebody is still entangled with Saudi money, munitions, and weird intelligence.  And the money, it's always about the money -  foreign, hidden, dangerous.  In walk Pike Logan and Jennifer Cahill, Operators from the secret Taskforce,  when they get hint of a planned attack, bigger than Sept 11, and even less expected. 

And the new attack is called Ring of Fire, a deadly, widespread terrorist campaign to undo the US, striking civilians, infrastructure and all other vital segments of our world.  Coming from an experienced Special Forces veteran, Ring of Fire has enough recognizable truths in it, that we know the possibilities are there, and real.  The only remaining pieces of the puzzle are our favorite secret anti-terror experts, Pike and Jennifer.  Taylor fans will also recognize Knuckles, another special ops veteran, and the Norfolk Navy Yard, where the plot builds to its usual Taylor climax.  There are sniper rifles, crazy car chases, bodies rolling and Jennifer's spectacular escape acts, but there's so much more.... And we can't give it away, but just believe that Taylor has unleashed another scarily close barely fiction story.  We've been waiting for this one...
