What does the (OPTIONAL) Weekly Owner Leasing Update Mean?

When your home is vacant it can be a very stressful time. We want to keep you updated so you know if there is interest in your property & if it is close to being rented so you are not simply left in the dark.

We send out a weekly email on leads for your rental, showings, approved applicants, deposit notifications, move in dates, or other updates regarding the leasing of your property.

If applicable, we may share recommendations for changing the rent or making some curb appeal enhancements. For example: We may recommend adjusting the price lower to increase interest, or we may recommend a repair to make the property more attractive to prospective residents.

The update looks like this:

Hello,

We have received 4 leads for your property in the last week.

Please see the attached report for more leasing activity details.

We will continue taking inquiries and screening applicants as quickly and thoroughly as we can and hope to have a new tenant for you soon.

No action is required on your part, but please let us know if you have any questions.

Assuring you of our prompt attention and very best service at all times,

FAQ

What does "5 leads" mean?

  • "Leads" are inquiries, at this time a "Lead" is an email from someone expressing interest in your property on one of the many sites we advertise on. We are still working on a way to accurately gauge all other lead sources such as calls, showings, walk-ins, etc. So 5 leads would be 5 emails asking about your property from a week range of Wednesday of the previous week to Wednesday of the current week.

What does it mean if my property is split on the activity report?

  • If the property on the report has multiple units and there is a row that says “No Unit” that is because there was an inquiry for the property, but the prospective tenant did not identify the specific unit of interest.
