What should I do if gas and/or electricity are off or not in my name at my property?

To start, please refer to this guide to learn more about the process of working with PGE, the gas and electricity provider for most properties in the Humboldt area.

Before RPM moves forward with a turn-on or transfer, we would first check if there's a back balance at the property. If there is a back balance, then we may not be allowed to transfer utilities until that balance is paid. In order to move this block on the account, RPM would front the payment of the back balance and charge that amount to the unit ledger.

To move forward, you will need to authorize RPM to manage your PG&E account. We will then follow up with you to collect any information described here we will still need.

RPM cannot start utility turn-on or transfer work until the owner completes the above steps.
