What is the Property Turnover process at RPM?
Vacancy Preparation: Vacancy preparations are triggered when a tenant submits their notice to vacate or RPM terminates a tenancy. Prep includes scheduling inspections, utilities, and recurring vacant property maintenance (i.e. lawn care), and coordinating move-out tasks with an RPM handyman.
Tenant Move-out: All vacancy prep that was previously planned is executed.
Move Out Inspection (MOI): An inspector conducts an inspection to document the condition after the move out.
Make Ready: Using the information from the MOI, an RPM vendor(s) performs repairs and cleaning to make the property rent-ready. The Utilities Specialist makes sure all utilities are turned on and in the owner’s name.
Move In Inspection (MII): RPM confirms that the repairs and cleaning made the property "rent-ready".
Listing Preparation: RPM’s professional photographer updates pictures of the property, and the property moves onto the Tenant Placement Process.
