How do I use KeyMe to send RPM a virtual copy of my keys?

In order to start managing your property, we need to have a copy of the keys. This allows us to attend to maintenance issues and access the property in emergencies. Follow the instructions below to make a copy using the KeyMe app on your mobile phone.

We'll receive the virtual copy of your key instantly, but it generally takes about a week for us to receive a physical copy. For the fastest possible transfer, your best bet is to overnight the keys via FedEx or UPS to our office at 710 E St. Suite 205 Eureka, CA 95501.

Step 1: Download the KeyMe app in the iOS App Store or Google Play Store.

Step 2: Create an account. You can log in with an existing Facebook or Google account, or create a new account using your email address.

Step 3: Scan and name your key. Hit the yellow “scan” button on the bottom bar, and follow the instructions.

Note: it may take a few minutes to analyze the key. If it does not work the first time, try again. If you have further trouble, it may not be a compatible key. Type the address for the key name.

Step 4: Repeat until all keys are scanned. Once the scans are complete, share them with keys@realhumboldt.com.

Select “Share,” then “Use Keyboard” and type “keys@realhumboldt.com”
