If you need to turn over your property when a tenant moves out, it's important this happens before RPM starts marketing the property.

Common turnover repairs include:

• Painting: $1.25 per square foot

• Carpet cleaning: ~$60 per room

• General cleaning: $50 per hour

• Junk removal: ~$700 per full truck load

• Mechanical and appliance updates: $700 for a hot water tank install, $1400 for a furnace install

• Cracks, holes, or worn areas in walls or floors

• Window screens: $30 per screen

• Window coverings and blinds: $4 to 6 per square foot

• Smoke & CO detectors: $15-$60, dependent on features

• Outlet & switch cover plates, and GFI outlets where needed

• Light fixtures (interior and exterior): $15-40 each

• Landscaping: $25-50 per lawn, $5-10 for edging
