Does Rentor winterize my vacant property?

Humboldt County does not experience winter weather as cold or intense as some areas, but if your property is vacant during these months, you have a few options to prevent unnecessary damages.

One option you have is winterization.  works with a dedicated contractor for this process.

Winterization:

• -Drain hot water tank and pipes

• -Check thermostat

• -Disconnect water supply from each toilet

• -Add antifreeze to pipes

Winterization and de-winterization package:

• -Winterization

• -Reconnect water supplies

• -System check

Of course, there is still risk of damage even when properties are winterized. We will continue to coordinate showings and report any visible maintenance, but Rentor does not assume responsibility for any property damages that occur.
