What happens with my vacant unit after my kickoff call?

After getting set up with your dedicated RPM Account Manager, here's what you can expect to happen:

  • A follow up email with any additional or reminder items to complete.

  • Assigning a Walkthrough of your property to make sure that it is rent ready. This takes three days from the day we receive your keys. You can view the results of the Initial Property Walkthrough on the Inspection Section of your Owner Portal.

  • Based on the results of the Walkthrough, the following three actions might happen:

    • If your property is rent ready, we'll schedule professional photos for your property. This takes five days from when the Walkthrough is complete.

    • If your property has minor maintenance issues, we'll file them and assign contractors to make repairs or provide bids. Once those are completed and confirmed, we will schedule professional photos.

    • If your property has major maintenance issues, we'll hand you off directly to our contractors to take care of the rehab work. Once the rehab is complete, we would assign another Walkthrough to make sure the property is rent ready.

  • Once we schedule the photos, we will ask you for additional details about your property. We will confirm rent, ask if pets are allowed, and note any additional details for the listing.

  • Once you provide us the responses and we have the photos uploaded onto our system, we'll list the property for rent on Zillow, Trulia, Craigslist, and other websites.
