Home education courses are fully parent-directed using parent-planned curriculum and resources. A detailed home education plan is required and students must maintain a portfolio of their work throughout the year.
Approval from our Associate Principal, Nadine Marchand, is required prior to enrollment.
Personalized Learning 1 - 9
Personalized Learning 1 - 9
Personalized Learning is a differentiated, adapted, or modified program. The curriculum aligns with the Alberta Program of Studies, but the level of instruction is customized to cater to each student’s unique abilities and requirements. It is appropriate for those students who are unable to achieve success in regular programming.
Students are registered in Language Arts, Mathematics, Science, Social Studies, Wellness, and Learning Strategies. Resources are chosen by the Personalized Learning teacher together with the family.
