NotebookLM is Artificial Intelligence created by Google. It can be loaded with different data sources such as documents, PDFs, and video. The data connected to it is secure (FERPA and COPPA compliant) and not shared with Google or any other source even for training purposes. Once connected the NotebookLM chatbot can respond to questions, create summaries, study guides, podcasts, and videos based on your data. It is not connected to realtime internet so only analyzes the data you have connected as its source. Like all AI, it can still get things wrong but most responses generate a link to the source so the user can verify. Each NotebookLM is limited to 50 sources but a user can create as many NotebookLMs as they want.
