Only the High School uses secondary grading which allows teachers to select different grading scales. The standard A,B,C,D,F grading scale is the default but some classes, like Study Skills classes, which are classes taken for credit but not intended to count towards the student's GPA.
Step 1
Select Grade Marks
A. Open the gradebook for the class you want to change and select the 'Grade Marks' tab from the menu bar.
Step 2
Assign Students to a Grade Mark Group
A. Select the triangle tab to open a Grade Mark Group
B. Check the set up of the Grade Mark Group to verify it is appropriate scoring for the class.
C. Select the 'Assign Students' button.
D. Check the box to select all students or individually select the students you would like assigned to the Grade Mark Group.
E. Select the 'Save' button.
F. The students you selected will be listed under the 'Students That Use This Group' tab.
