If you have a class in Skyward you should already have an Apptegy account to log into. If you do not have a class, an Apptegy account may have been created for you. Follow the directions below to login. If you determine you do not have an account, you could select the 'Create a Help Desk Ticket' button at the bottom of this page to send an email requesting your Apptegy account be created.
Depending on your device settings in the first two steps may only need to be made the first time you log.
Step 1
Sign in with Google
A. Use this link to access the sign in page and then select the button to 'Sign in with Google' .
B. In the new box that opens you should select your school district Google account to continue to Thrillshare.
C. In the new box that opens you should select the 'Continue' button to indicate you agree with the statement.
Step 2
Agree to Terms of Use
A. You must scroll to the bottom of the Terms of Use which will cause the 'Agree to Terms of Use' button at the bottom to turn purple. Once it is purple it is active and should be selected to continue.
Step 3
This page shows and allows you to access all apptegy software, access the help menu, and edit your account settings.
The tabs at the left lists apptegy software you have access to edit. For most staff it will only show 'Rooms'. Select the 'Submit a Helpdesk Ticket' button at the bottom of the page to email a request for more access if you would like. Select the down arrow to open the tabs and access the editing menu.
A. Media - Allows creating and editing messages to be emailed, posted on the website, and/or social media.
B. CMS - The Content Management System allows editing the website pages.
C. Rooms - Classroom communication tool (similar to Remind or Class Dojo) that allows communication with one student/parent or a whole class/group. The 'Rooms' page of this Self Help Site gives further detail about this tab.
D. User Management - Edit student or staff information.
The help menu described below is available on this and many other Apptegy pages.
E. Select the purple icon to open or close the help menu. Detailed help menu directions are described in the next step.
The 'Account Setup' page gives details about the rest of this page.
Step 4
Navigating the Help Menu
The first time you access your Account Page the help menu is open to a list of tasks as shown at the right.
A. Drag the scrolling bar down to see all 8 tasks. The tasks guide you through setup of your account and basic first use of Rooms. The minimal detail and links provided in these tasks are usually easier to follow than directions in the Self Help Site, especially for first time setup.
B. Select the arrow to open and close the task details.
C. 'Mark as completed' to remove the taks from your list.
D. Select the 'X' or the purple circle icon to open or close the help menu.
E. Select the arrow to navigate to the main help menu where you can chat with an AI bot or a real representative. Use icons at the bottom to view your previous help messages, or return to the Task list. Each time you log into Apptegy it will return to the part of the Help Menu you last accessed.

Task Details
Lines A-H give details of each task. You may skip a tasks and return to complete it later. When you complete a task you can select 'Mark as complete' to remove it from your 'Tasks' list.
Apptegy Account Settings: Steps 1-4 guide you through the steps outlined on the Account Setup page. If you don't set up your account the default options will be applied. You can edit the setup at any time but you will not be prompted to do so when setting up a new Room or sending a communication.
A. Step 1 -You are encouraged to upload a photo to help families recognize who they are communicating with.
B. Step 2 - Set office hours to better control when you receive communications from Apptegy.
C. Step 3 -Select how often you receive communications.
D. Step 4 - Apptegy needs to know your preferred language for its translation features.
Rooms Setup: Step 5 guides you through the steps outlined on the 'Set Up a Room' page.
E. Step 5 - A Room is a group that created by selecting individuals or class rosters. It can be set to include the Behavior Module for tracking rewards or demerits.
Sending Communications: Steps 6-7 guide you through the steps outlined on the 'Messaging' page.
F. Step 6 -Announcements go to large groups. Rooms is currently live so only make an Announcement if you want it to be received.
G. Step 7 -Messages are sent to select individuals. Rooms is currently live so only send a message if you want it to be received.
Help Menu: Step 8 guides you to options for help. Navigation of the help menu is described in Step 4 on this page.
H. Step 8 - Provides a button to Apptegy's extensive online help resources. It also uses AI to guess at topics that may interest you.
