Some staff have been issued Chromebooks. The Model and Serial Number is usually shown on the bottom. You can also access details about the ChromeOS version under the Settings menu. Use the Table of Contents below to jump to an area of interest.
A monitor or classroom display can be set up to mirror what is on your Chromebook screen or it can be an extended view. In Extended view the second display will only display the default view of your Chromebook unless you drag a window over to the extended screen. Settings for these modes can be found in the Launcher menu under Settings (gear shaped icon) --> Device --> Displays. If you are properly connected to a second display you will see options to mirror or extend the screens. If you choose to extend you will see rectangles, representing your screens, that can be dragged around to change where each screen is in relationship to the other. Select either rectangle to change settings for the display the rectangle represents. See 'Classroom Display Only Shows Desktop Screen' under the Problems tab for further information.
