Smartpass is the App used at Viking to manage passes, not to be confused with FlexiPASS which is used at the High School.

Staff can give students access to passes with various controls such as needing permission from a teacher, length of time, how many and which students can have a pass at the same time. The app also helps monitor passes being used in the school. Students use the app to access passes.

The app is web based so it will be available through Chrome or on a SmartPhone or Tablet. Accounts for that app are managed by Viking Principal, Jarod Dachel.

In your teacher account, click on Schedule Pass
You will be moved to your calendar tab and a pop-up window will open to schedule an activity or a pass.
In the scheduling section
Select the Flex Period named Clubs
Title your activity with a location if it is somewhere other than your classroom.
Select the slider so that it is a public event.
Repeat to one day for your club
select repeat on selected days only.
Please select April 25th only.
Enter a max capacity - please be sure it is set to at least 24 students.
Click Schedule
You're done setting up your Flex Activity!
