SCHOOL

DROP-OFFS & CROSSWALKS - Students need to be dropped off on the east side of the building (the IGA side) before school. Please use the crosswalk if leaving the school grounds and heading toward McDonalds. You can receive a ticket for jaywalking if you cross elsewhere.

OPERATION WARM - Operation Warm is now collecting your new or gently used coats and snow pants to distribute to children in need. You can drop off your donation at the office or stop in for more information.

CO-OP STUDENTS - On Thursday, October 16th, the schedule will be reversed due to state testing. Students who have early release and co-op need to connect with their places of employment to make arrangements to attend class on that day.

GUIDANCE

SENIORS - If you require critical financial assistance to go to college you can stop by the counseling office to learn about the Horatio Alger Scholarship. The deadline is October 25th.

FRESHMEN THRU SENIORS - the VFW has a scholarship contest: this year’s essay theme is “Why Veterans are important to America’s History and Future.” Stop by the counseling office for more information. The deadline is November 1st.

BELLIN COLLEGE - Students interested in nursing or radiology- Bellin College has many opportunities such as nursing camps, job shadow nights and information sessions-see your counselor for more details.

JUNIORS AND SENIORS - The Admissions Representative from St. Norbert College will be here in the counseling office this Friday during 4th hour, October 10th. Stop by the counseling office to sign up.

AMERICAN LEGION AUXILIARY SCHOLARSHIP - information is available in the guidance office. If you or your mother belongs to the Legion or if a parent or grandparent is a veteran you may be eligible.
