New Staff Member — Katie Lawrenz

"Hello! I am Katie Lawrenz and I am the new School Psychologist for the Luxemburg-Casco School District. I am originally from the New Franken/Humboldt area and graduated from Luxemburg-Casco in 2007. I completed my undergraduate degree at UW-Eau Claire and earned my graduate degree at the University of Northern Iowa. This is my 6th year as a school psychologist and my first year at L-C.

My boyfriend and I recently purchased a home in rural De Pere and are currently in the process of building a shop. We have an 11-year-old German Shorthaired Pointer named “Gary.” He was an out-of-state rescue dog from Kansas that we adopted in 2012 and he has been living the good life as a couch potato ever since. We also have several fish, including a 15-cent goldfish who would now make a decent fillet because he’s so huge!

I enjoy spending time with my family, gardening, and cooking. One fun fact about me is that I always leave my quarter in the shopping cart at Aldi’s to make someone’s day!"
