SCHEDULING 2021-2022

    • Link to online coursebook - read descriptions carefully before making selections

    • Schedule changes will be limited due to the schedule change policy

    • Course selections may be edited after initial entry in PowerSchool until your window closes.

      • Current Juniors: March 29-April 2

      • Current Sophomores: March 31-April 5

      • Current Freshmen: April 5-April 9

    • If unable to submit requests due to an error, remove course(s) causing the error and submit all other courses so complete re-entry is not necessary - contact the Counseling Office for assistance resolving error

    • Current high school students with general questions may receive assistance from counselors by scheduling an appointment with their counselor. If you failed a required course for graduation, contact your counselor to ensure you are rescheduled for next year.

    • Pay attention to pre requisites to make sure you’ve met the requirements before selecting a course

    • REMEMBER THAT POWERSCHOOL LISTS ALL COURSES AS .5 CREDIT SO DON'T PAY ATTENTION TO THAT WHEN TOTALLING UP YOUR CREDITS! FULL YEAR CLASSES=1 CREDIT AND SEMESTER CLASSES = .5 CREDIT

ELECTIVE COURSES - NAME CHANGES

    • Exploratory AG will show up as Exploratory Ag and Exploratory Ag II under semester electives

    • Natural Resources and Wildlife Skills will be found under semester electives as Wildlife, Fish & Forest Management

    • Principles of Psychology can be found under semester electives as Intro to Psychology

CLASS OF 2022 & 2023

    • Due to the college application process, carefully request courses since schedule changes may require approval and affect acceptance decisions

    • Check Graduation Requirements in the course catalog to make sure you are on track for graduation

    • If planning to attend a 4 year college, it is HIGHLY recommended to take a 4th year of college level math as well as Chemistry AND Physics (can be taken even if you’ve taken Physical Science 1 & 2)

    • If you are interested in Peer Tutoring, Late Start/Early Release, Youth Apprenticeship, NWTC Auto Tech program or Diesel Tech program, you will select a full course load and WE will change your schedule once you are approved for the program to make sure you meet credit/course requirements

    • If you are planning to take a Start College Now course in CNA/Medical Terminology, please select those courses under the semester electives options
