One to World Rollout

Access to technology and modern resources is a priority at Luxemburg-Casco School District, and we're proud to be rolling out our One to World plan in the 2016-2017 school year. The Luxemburg-Casco One to World program fulfills the district's goal of providing each and every Spartan with equal access to modern resources that will be necessary to maximize learning. But One to World also allows our educators to reach our students, and our students to reach the world, in ways that weren't possible before the rise of technology.

HIGH SCHOOL

Each High School student will receive their own Chromebook from the District. Students will use their Chromebook in class during the day, and they will be free to take them home each night to complete schoolwork. Students will be responsible for arriving to class with their Chromebook prepared for use each day based on their teacher’s lesson plan. Use of the Chromebooks in class will be at the sole discretion of the teacher.

High School students will pick up their Chromebook on one of the forms and fees days. Use these links to find more information and read the student and parent One to World handbooks.

MIDDLE SCHOOLEach Middle School student will receive a Chromebook for use at school only. Logistics will be handled by building staff and teachers. Use of the Chromebooks in class will be at the sole discretion of the teacher.

INTERMEDIATE SCHOOL

Each classroom will have access to a set of Chromebooks so that teachers can plan lessons with consistent access to integral resources.

PRIMARY SCHOOL

Each grade level will have access to sets of Chromebooks or iPads so that teachers have readily available resources when they plan to use technology.

OTHER RESOURCES

In order to provide students with an opportunity to earn experience in customer service and Information Technology services, a student service desk will be implemented at the High School. The service desk will be in charge of facilitating repairs for student Chromebooks, troubleshooting for and training students and staff, providing level one hardware and software support, and various other responsibilities. Students can apply for acceptance onto the staff of this service desk here:

The District Technology Committee will also be launching a dedicated One to World website in the near future. This website will highlight relevant information pertaining to the One to World plan and vision, as well as resources for students and parents.
