Influenza is a highly contagious respiratory virus that affects our communities each year. Flu season runs from October through May. This virus can live on hard surfaces and can be spread easily through coughing and sneezing. Symptoms of influenza include fever, cough, sore throat, runny nose, body aches, and tiredness.

To protect the children within our community, the Kewaunee County Health Department will hold an influenza immunization clinic at your child’s school on: Tuesday, October 27, 2015. Both nasal and injectable vaccine will be available while supplies last.
