Mental Health Clinics at L-C

Exciting development in the Luxemburg-Casco School District

Luxemburg-Casco School District has recently been certified to house two Mental Health Clinics for approved students within the District. Essentially this works the same as any outside mental health therapist’s office, just housed within the L-C District.

Amy Higginbotham from Bellin started December 6th and will continue to be in the district one day each week. She will be splitting her time between the Middle School and Intermediate School locations but will see students from all four schools.

This resource is an opportunity for L-C students who have been receiving additional levels of support and will be coordinated through each building’s counseling department. Individual families will be billed through their insurance just as if they would had they gone to any other clinic.

The district is very excited to be able to offer a space inside its school walls, here at L-C, to support Spartan students mental health needs!
