Luxemburg-Casco High School ranks in top 20 percent in U.S. and Wisconsin

L-C is a top-performing high school in 2019 U.S. News & World Report rankings

LUXEMBURG, Wis. – Luxemburg-Casco High School turned in a strong performance in the 2019 U.S. News & World Report Best High Schools Rankings. L-C finished in the top 20 percent of schools nationally and in the state of Wisconsin.

U.S. News & World Report evaluated 17,245 high schools across the country in 2019, and Luxemburg-Casco ranked 3,311.

Among the 517 high schools in Wisconsin, L-C similarly landed within the top 20 percent, ranking 105th.

Luxemburg-Casco High School also excelled within its local area, ranking 10th in CESA 7. CESA 7 is the Cooperative Educational Service Agency for Northeast Wisconsin, representing 38 school districts.

“As a small, rural district, we take great pride in the strength of our academic curriculum and student performance,” says Luxemburg-Casco School District Superintendent Glenn Schlender. “The U.S. News rankings affirm our belief that L-C High School is a top performer locally and beyond.

“We try to be responsive to every child, offering advanced placement and college preparatory coursework, along with the ability to gain skills that will translate into the work world.”

Luxemburg-Casco additionally was in the top 15 percent (rank of 2,568) in the College Readiness Index and in the top 9 percent (rank of 1,547) in the College Curriculum Breadth Index of U.S. News & World Report. L-C turned in a graduation rate of 96 percent in the 2019 rankings.
