Appearance & Location

Slarg are small, colorful amphibians known for being particularly slimy. Without their signature slime, slargs are particularly unremarkable in appearance. They're small with long and fat tails, chubby legs and fingers, blunt snouts, round eyes, and smooth bodies aside from a row of stout spines going down it's back and tail. They are mostly found in the small tidepools of TideClan's shores, where they're a common prey for Emperatura and Kraimeu.

Abilities & Behavior

Slarg are more active during the cool parts of the day and are nocturnal. During the day they lounge under rocks to stay cool, and at night they come out to eat. They're carnivores, eating slow moving things such as worms, slugs, snails, and the occasional fish. They must always remain moist, and aren't ever far from the water. The water is also where they lay their eggs, laying them in batches of several hundred tiny shell-less, frog-like eggs.

Their mucus covered skin makes them quite slippery, but they're not very fast, making them completely harmless. They are able to regenerate their limbs within a few weeks if they're torn off, allowing them to survive attacks from predators.

Variants & Attributes

Slarg vary very little in colors, ranging from varying greens to black. They're solid in color, but some may exhibit dapples of vibrant colors on the rare occassion.

Slarg hold no religious value to the Clan cats, who just see them as prey. They are also a favorite toy among Apprentices, who enjoy trying to catch them and slip around.
